When sperm enter egg: If a conception date is estimated from an early ultrasound scan (at 8-11 weeks gestation) the accuracy of the estimate is good. For women with regular periods, counting from the first day of the last menstrual period gives a good estimate too. Estimates are plus or minus one week. In a natural pregnancy, nobody ever knows the exact moment or day that the sperm entered the egg (conception date).

If you feel conception is the time on which the egg was fertilized, that occurs 14 days before your missed period. So, it is always somewhat of a guess. The length of pregnancy is 40 weeks plus minus two weeks, so knowing the exact date is not medically as important as may be emotionally.

That means asking if something CAN happen is not a useful question. The real question is, "How likely is something to happen?" In real life, ultrasound dating at 8 weeks is not going to be a month off.

Depends: Typical gestation is 40 weeks.  So, if he was a term infant, look at a calendar and count back 40 weeks.  If he was premature, count back the number of weeks of his estimated gestation.

No: Most babies are not born on their predicted due dates. Some are born on their due dates, but most are born just a little before, or just a little after... That's how life works! the conception date does not change just because the baby is born days before or days after the predicted due date.
