Yes, however...: Yes, in fact it is wise to take a multivitamin when on birth control pills. However, there are many better choices than centrum, which has inadequate doses, toxic synthetic e, toxic additives ; poorly absorbed minerals. No single best optio: There's no single best method of birth control for everyone. We're all different which is why there are so many options. Condoms are great for those w/multiple partners as they can decrease risk of sexually transmitted infections. Hormonal contraception can decrease acne & help regulate menses. Implantable hormones can negate need to take pill daily. Same for intrauterine devices. Talk to ur doc.

It is more likely a woman will experience irregular bleeding, and it is more possible she will ovulate and get pregnant.  Check with your doctor if you are not sure how to take your birth control pills correctly.

To be safe, you should take the one in the am and the other at dinner (some minerals in calcium may bind with other pills if taken at the same time).  To be extra safe, you can ask your pharmacist as well.  But the short answer is yes.
