Extremely rare: The tubes are usually cut and then cauterized to prevent you getting pregnant as well as leaving the possibility of ever re-attaching.  The chances of both sides of the tube  re-opening, then finding each other to fuse together and become patent would be EXTREMELY rare.

Tubals can fail: Not very often but easy to check a urine preg test , if - and u are still worried see your gyn for a blood preg test which will be + a few days before the missed period and if u are preg- hopefully not - your obgyn needs to follow u closely since u would be more at risk for a tubal( ectopic pregnancy) due to the fact you had a tubal and the tubes were damaged by the tubal.

Yes: Pregnancy can happen with any form of birth control including tubal ligation as there is a small chance of failure of the procedure. If concerned about pregnancy check a home pregnancy test or see your gynecologist for blood pregnancy testing.

Unlikely: It is unlikely that you are pregnant but a pregnancy test should rule it out.
You may have failed to ovulate which might prolong your period since no Progesterone would be produced to mature your uterine lining so that it would shed. If this is indeed so your late period could be scant but somewhat prolonged.

Tubal ligation?: If you have had your tubes tied, you should not be able to get pregnant (unless it was done incorrectly).

i got the essure tubal ligation done in 2010 when i decided to go sterile...but i never went back for that dye test can i still get pregnant. .

Probably not: The requirement for the dye test has faded because the essure has been shown to be quite successful if done by  a doctor that knows how to do it.

Not recommended: Unfortunately, the chances are not good. Tubals can be reversed successfully but ablation permanently changes the uterine lining although pregnancy is unlikely, it's not impossible.
