Yes on pregnancy.: You could be pregnant, but a urine test could be negative or inconclusive.  A blood HCG might help you if you have to know now.  Seeing a heart beat at 6 weeks is the ultimate reassurance.

Check with OB: If you are experiencing unusual pains at this point you need to call & talk with the staff at your ob's office. Various complications of labor & delivery can start this way & you need to see  if they want to do an evaluation/stress test or both. Call soon.

It is common.: "Period" Pain in early pregnancy is quite common. Having said this if the pain is persistent &amp; unbearable you should visit your doctor to exclude an ectopic pregnancy. IOnce you have had an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy is in the uterus you can monitor the pain &amp; take panado if necessary.

Still possible: Newer urine pregnancy tests can detect a pregnancy several days before the missed cycle. You can check a hpt, but don't be discouraged if negative. Check again at the missed cycle time and that would be more accurate.

Unclear question: Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period.

Pregnant 6 wks: An internal exam is not going to confirm that the pregnancy is doing "well".  Ask your OB provider for a quantitative HCG test and a pelvic ultrasound.  While spotting and cramping are not unusual, and the pregnancy may be fine, you need other testing to confirm this.

Pregnancy Location: Is your pregnancy in the correct location? If you haven't had an ultrasound to make sure your pregnancy is in the uterus (instead of elsewhere, called an "ectopic pregnancy"), this should be prioritized. An ectopic pregnancy is an emergency. Other things can cause pain during all stages of pregnancy, including implantation pain, round ligament pain, and false labor. Call your OB!

Depends: You may need to monitor your HCG level to make sure that the pregnancy is not ectopic. If the pain increases and especially if you get bleeding, it would be prudent to see a doctor or go to the nearest hospital.
For the sake of your and your baby's health you should be under the care of a doctor for proper antenatal care.

May be preterm labor: Those pains or cramps could be contractions and so could be preterm labor. One should be checked out by her Ob-Gyn doctor. That may mean going to the hospital and staying in the Labor and Delivery ward to be monitored to see what is going on. Meanwhile, avoid physical activities, having sex, and overly bumpy car rides. A baby born at 32 weeks is too early, so hopefully that uterus calms down.
