They will need to verify that the treatment worked. They should also discuss your future birth control plans with you to avoid another unplanned pregnancy

i had unprotected sex 02/18 and my period was due 03/05 is it too early to see anything in an ultrasound by 03/11? am i able to take an abortion pill?

Can do a preg. test: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon. Urine pregnancy tests are sold everywhere. If the test is positive, then one can decide what to do with her baby embryo.

i went to planned parenthood for my abortion pill and the doctor also prescribed azithromycin and metronidazole i'm not sure why. is this common?

Genital infection?: Your doctor thought you have an infection. These antibiotics are commonly used to treat vaginal or genital infections, including STDs (especially chlamydia and trichomonas), and for bacterial vaginosis, an overgrowth of vaginal bacteria. Or perhaps the antibiotics were intended to prevent an infection as a complication of the abortion procedure. You'll need to ask the doctor.

i came home from my 20 week rob anatomy ultrasound today, i brought home a cd with all of my pictures on it and stumbled across the preliminary report. it says i have anterior low lying placenta, what is this and should i schedule to see my doctor sooner

Not a problem: You'll probably get another ultrasound just to make sure your placental has stretched well away from the cervix. Low-lying anterior placenta is just where your placenta happens to be at 20 weeks. I don't worry about this unless you had a prior c-sec, then i check to make sure there's no accreta (placenta growing into the old scar). In summary, it's normal & not a problem. Enjoy your pictures.

is this an alarming situation - any hazards?

Common: Unfortunately it's too common.  Usually this is watched for spontaneous resolution.
