Family practice : What type and where was the pain. It could be gallbladder pain. This would explain the stool color change. I would stick with a bland diet or clear liquids until you are seen. If pain persists you need to go to the er.

Something swallowe: The yellow coloring is from bile, meaning his reverse peristalsis is strong enough to regurgitate contents from the duodenum, so whatever is coming up is partially digested food which he ingested earlier.

: Yes, one of ondansetron’ s typical side effects, up to 10% of patients. Ondansetron should only be taken for limited amounts of time and by now your nausea should have abated, so you are not likely to need to continue with it, focus on having a bowel movement. Confirm with prescriber.
