Not really: You have yeast in your body, including the colon, but your body keeps it in control. You are taking probiotics, and that's key to helping your body. The bubbly feeling does not sound like yeast. You should probably be evaluated to make sure something else isn't going on.

Her my advice: Yeast can result from: 
antibiotic use, which leads to a decrease in the amount of lactobacillus bacteria in your vagina and a change in your vaginal ph that allows yeast to overgrow
 pregnancy
 uncontrolled diabetes
 impaired immune system
 anything that changes the type and amount of bacteria normally present in the vagina, such as douching or irritation from inadequate vaginal lubrication.

Anti-fungal: You don't say where the yeast infection is. Infections on the skin response well to over the counter anti-fungal creams. Oral yeast does best with prescription anti-fungal medication.

Unlikely chronic. : There should be no such thing as a chronic yeast infection. In case you have a resistant strain a culture should be taken. Or perhaps you keep getting it. There are ways to prevent it. Talk to one of the gynecologist and I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

Very hard: Sometimes use of a "probiotic" agent can help. Acidophilus tablets help some women; sometimes a product called "flora=q" can balance the vaginal ph to prevent yeast infections.  Some women use garlic supplements to help.  Sometimes, for women wtih confirmed frequent/recurrent yeast infections, Diflucan (fluconazole) pills (100mg, once per week for up to 12 weeks can prevent recurrrences.

Yeast and Men: Not likely. But, the most common long term skin problem for men is psoriasis or eczema. Have you shown your problem to a physician?

Coincidence likely: Taking vitamins should not cause you to get a yeast infection. It is probably a timing coincidence. Unless those vitamins have something in them besides vitamins, always check the ingredients! If you're pregnant, yeast infections are common in pregnant women since they become more susceptible to them.

Taking : Taking pro-biotic supplements can help and eating a lot of yogurt helps.  Sometimes women with persistent vaginal infections are treated with boric acid periodically but this a treatment that needs to be managed carefully by a physician.  Our office has natural supplements containing pro-biotics that help a lot for some women.
