Yes: If you are being treated for chlamydia with a course of antibiotics, you should continue.  It should not be interrupted just because you are going through your period.

Accepted Answer

: Yes.  But if you have symptoms of a yeast infection would take fluconazole to see if it does not rid you of the symptoms.  Safe to take in the majority of patients.

No effect : Taking antibiotics for chlamydia would not affect your periods. If you are late for your cycle you should check a pregnancy test at home.

Medications used to: Treat chlamydia should not delay your menses.

will having your period help clear out chlamydia (3 days after treatment of a single dose)?

Accepted Answer

No: Having a cycle will not clear or treat chlamydia. You may have been given a dose of Zithromax. Follow up with your doctor for repeat cultures to make sure the infection has been treated. Make sure any sexual partner is treated, if not you could be reinfected.

Tattoo: period: There is no reason that menstruation would interfere with "getting a tattoo".

Accepted Answer

Likely not: Understand, having sex while having a tampon in does not protect from pregnancy!  it is likely to get jammed up the vagina and be difficult to get out afterward.  I don't recommend sex with a tampon in place.  Second, women are not very fertile during the period.  That being said if you are having sex and not wanting to get pregnant - use an effective form of birth control.

Yes: Yes it is possible to get pregnant if you are not taking any oral contraceptives and are on a 26 day cycle.

Accepted Answer

: This is a question best answered by an Oral Surgeon. That said, I know of no contraindication.
