: Lamotrigine is usually weight neutral, and in my experience, has never been associated with significant weight gain.  BCP's, maybe a culprit; ask your gynecologist.  Perhaps eat less, exercise more, and less calories result in lower weight.

Yes: Antiseizure meds are not a problems to get pregnant. Nevertheless some anti seizure meds cause severe fetal anomalies. It is very important that you try to have your seizures under control and with only 1 medication. Make sure your neurologists is involved.

Mood stabilizing: Lottlrigine acts as a Mood Stabilizer. The ADHD mediication can cause moodiness problems. Lamotrigine can help one's mood be nore stable. What reason did the doctor have for putting you on it? I don't have enough information, but please, don't ferl VAD if it tirns out you may have a slight touch of the condition. I avoid stimulants in my patitence with Bipolar Disorder. Good luck

Bleeding on bcps ?: Birth control pills are very low in hormone content these days, and punctuality is important to avoid breakthrough bleeding. Not taking active pills within one hour of the previous day's active pill may cause bleeding. Stop the pack you are now taking, wait five days, and start a new pack of bcp's, but pay attention to taking them punctually.

Not usually: It is very rare that lamotrigine would cause increased sensitivity to the sun. That said, though, it's important to limit direct exposure to the sun and to protect your skin when you're outside. If you notice a rash, blistering, or other skin problem after being in the sun, see your doctor in case it may be the result of a medication you are taking.

Potentially bad.: Most cases reporting lamotrigine exposures observed mild or no toxicity; however, large exposures were associated with severe CNS depression, seizures, cardiac conduction delays, wide complex tachycardia, and death. In adults with a serum concentration &gt;25 mg/L, severe toxicity may occur. In patients ≤3.5 years of age, ingestions of ≥525 mg may produce severe CNS depression and seizures.
