No.: You get it when yourself being infected through (your own) open wound or injection.
Hep-c virus would not show up on skin, in theory.

Officially no: Many things are "possible" in life. So, the real question is, "How likely is it to happen?" The chances of catching HepC by kissing is perhaps 0%, mathematically rounded off. HepC virus is in the blood. If a HepC person has some cracks or scrapes on the lips or inside the mouth, any canker sores, or any bleeding gums, then HepC can be in the mouth... probably more so if kissing is very vigorous.

Hep C is blood borne: If an open wound is exposed to blood infected with hep c that can be a source of transmission.

Not C: Highly unlikely for Hep B or C in above described scenario. Hep A and other infections still possible otherwise, COVID included. Caution and enforced hygiene should be in place from now on.

Hepatitis C : Most people who are exposed to hepatitis C actually contract the disease and it becomes a chronic infection. A small proportion of people who contract HCV clear it on their own.

Yes: People can get multiple strains of hepatitis c, although usually we only detect one to two different genotypes  at a time. It is unclear whether multiple strains have any impact on liver disease, but treatment is driven by the hardest to treat genotype in the mix. So if someone had a mix of genotypes 1 and 2 they would be treated as a 1. Lots of other reasons not to share needles like hiv.

No: risk for getting hepatitis C infection from what you described is non-existent.

Not spread via water: Hepatitis C is spread when blood from a person infected with the hepatitis C virus enters the body of someone who is not infected. Hepatitis C is not spread by sharing eating utensils, breastfeeding, kissing, holding hands, coughing, or sneezing. It is also not spread via food or water. And so a canker sore should not increase chances of spread via water unless blood is present. Best of luck!

No: Hep c is not very virulent, which means it's hard to transmit.  Blood transfusion, unprotected sex with an infected person, IV drug use, dialysis, and mother-to-fetus are the only known ways to get it.  You can kiss an infected person with no risk whatsoever.
