Probably not: Unless the urine specimen contains a very large inoculum of chlamydia &amp; gonorrhea that managed to enter all the way into your cervix and through your endocerival canal  (or perhaps to penetrate a deep tear in your vagina) the probably that you would "get infected" is quite small.  These microorganisms are very unlikely to penetrate intact skin of your labia, vulva, or vagina.

Possible: False positives are always possible, although unlikely.  Without know the actually type of test used, it is not possible to estimate the false positive rate.  That being said, a positive result should be taken seriously and assumed to be correct, and treatment for you and your partners should be undertaken immediately.

: This is a wise question, but don't worry. Apparently you know that first catch, not midstream urine (MSU) is advised for chlamydia/gonorrhea testing. The performance of MSU specimens has never been formally studied. However, 20 years experience in all labs is that it makes no difference:   negative result on MSU will be reliable, with no increased risk of a false negative result.

ANS: you clean/flush out your urethera  with  urine (almost always sterile) when you pee and thus may miss what is lurking there. It needs time to reproduce enough that the test will pick it up. But ask lab also.

should i get retested if i provided a midstream sample of my urine for pcr testing for chlamydia/gonorrhea. i got the results and it came back negative. but im worried that it may not be reliable since its the first-pass that laboratories needed?

: Many labs do not insist on the first void specimen. So if no symptoms there are good chance you are OK. If still worried repeat test per instuctions of your doc.

i had sex with a girl so i went to the doctor 2 hours later to get tested gave them a urine sample and they put me on doxy the same day. i came back positive 2 days later for chlamydia. and sex on the 5th treatment day did i pass it to another girl?

: Probably you did not catch chlamydia during the exposure mentioned; two hours is much too soon for the test to be positive. Conceivably, your positive result was because your urethra contained a small amount o your partner's vaginal fluid, but more likely you were infected previously. However, 5 days of doxycycline probably is sufficient to prevent infection to your next partner.

i was treated for chlamydia 2 months ago,  i haven't had sex since, i've notice a sticky, thick discharge like a mucous, i get a dull pain on right of my labia  when  it appears,  i feel the urge to urinate and my urine was good too, it's really confusing

Infection: It sounds like either your infection did not clear with treatment or ther is another bacteria present. I would see your physician to get another smear taken to chek the diagnosis

Not likely: It would not be expectable that one would be able to transfer these things through just exposure to urine.

Need more info: Sperm in urine is no problem. I am concerned that you may still have chlamydia infection. Make an appointment with a urologist now.
