Possible: Athletes foot is a fungal infection and can be transmitted to other parts of the body esp the areas that stay warm and moist. It may also go onto the face. U can treat these with miconazole or clotrimazole creams available over the counter as Micatin/ Daktarin and LOTRIMIN. U r supposed to use cream three times a day , rub it in gently , &amp;use it for 2-6 weeks depending on the site of infection.

The athletes foot: YES TINEA infection is a fungus like yeast but a different species

ACNE

NO it has NOTHING to with Yeast
BTW a commonly held theory (more "popular years ago) was that subclinical yeast infection was responsible for a whole host of common disorders including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome...NONSENSE!!!

Athletes foot: You can't get athletes foot in the mouth unless you suck on your toes  or someone who has athletes foot. You can however get thrush which is a fungus, in the mouth.

Yes: If you have a fungus and don't practice good hygiene it's possible. Need to wash socks and never where same pair to days in a row. Try some otc anti fungals like lotromin ultra or see your podiatrist. Fungus likes to grow in dark damp, moist environment.

Meds and hygeine: Wear absorbant socks and change often, let feet air out whenever possible. Dry thoroughly after bathing. A small amount of powder in shoes may also help. Topical anti-fungal sprays and solutions are in order. If problem persists, consult with a podiatrist.

Start with a topical: Antifungal cream.  Currently, the best thing going is naftin (naftifine) 2%, available by prescription only.  Otc antifungal creams can be ok as well.  On top of this, you must change the environment in which the feet reside.  Feet must be kept clean and dry, especially between the toes.  Use powder on the feet daily; change shoes daily; you may want to treat the shoes too, with sprays or an uv sanitizer.
