No such restrictions: Dairy products are not harmful to patients with Cancer unless they are overweight, in which case we try to minimize dairy product use in order to lose weight. Over-weight is not good for anyone including patients with cancer. As such patients with Cancer are allowed to drink milk, especially reduced fat type of milk is good for their nutrition.

Still dairy: Lactose free milk is still considered dairy, as only the lactose has been taken out.  Yogurt, milk, ice cream and cheeses are also all dairy.  Soy, almond or rice milks are non-dairy alternatives.

Nothing: Lactose-free milk is just regular cow's milk with lactase-enzyme added to convert lactose sugar molecules to simpler sugars such as glucose and galactose, which can be absorbed without further enzymatic action in the intestine. It will not hurt you in any way to drink lactose-free milk. There is also no particular advantage unless you are lactose-intolerant.

Gas: Many processed foods contain dairy products; so you have to check ingredients. Of course, other dairy products contain lactose, too—cheese, ice cream, yogurt. You can take lactase tablets (otc) before a meal to help break down lactose. Simethicone can help break up gas bubbles to relieve bloating & discomfort.

You have to: Quit milk and milk products. It is much more likely to be due to somethihg given to cows to increase their milk output such as bovine growth hormone or antibiotics to prevent udder infection. A lot of people are affected.

Multiple: Lactose intolerance is due to a missing digestive enzyme (lactase) in the gut of affected persons. There are commercial products that have the lactase enzyme added like lactaid milk. Soy milk is naturally lactose free. You can also buy the missing enzyme in tablet form and take it before consuming lactose containing products.
