Vitex: No. Urinary tract infections  are caused by bacterial infection.  Vitex is an herbal folk remedy used to attempt to manipulate sex hormones in females.  This should not have an effect of any significance on the bladder or kidneys.

Yes it can..: Urinary tract infection--by definition: any organism infecting this system is a uti, including chlamydia. Often, this organism does not cause much symptoms and so can go unnoticed for many women. Infections in the vagina/unterus/fallopian tubes are more concerning as infertility can be the result. Needs evalUation: Urinary stasis allows bacteria to grow in stagnant urine.  Causes can be incomplete bladder emptying, or a bladder diverticulum.  You could have a connection between the colon and the bladder.  
There can be immunologic reasons.  The bladder mucus should have the antigens a, b, o (blood type antigens) present.  These prevent bacteria from sticking to the bladder wall.  10% of people do not secrete.

No: Tss is a group a streptococcal infection or  staphylococcus aureus infection or colonization associated with the sudden onset of shock and organ failure.  On streptococcal tss soft tissue infection is the most common portal of entry.  A UTI is almost never the cause of either type of tss.

Diabetes?: Urine can be sticky, foamy, sweet smelling in patients with diabetes that is poorly controlled.  See your physician to check your urinalysis for glucose as well as blood glucose to check for diabetes (sugar too high in blood).

Not likely: The implant does not decrease your immune system or introduce bacteria to your urinary system so it should not cause a uti.  However, it can produce side effects that cause vaginal dryness which may cause symptoms similar to UTI if you feel burning and discomfort.

It shouldn't: Masturbation without rubbing the urethral meatus (the hole where the urine (pee) comes out) should not be related to uti's. That means one can have a UTI regardless of one's masturbation. Mutual masturbation is a little more risky because one person may not know where the other person's urethral meatus is. It may be wise to learn one's anatomy to avoid rubbing somebody wrong.
