Yes: At a listed age of 31, you are beyond the approved age (9-26) where insurers would cover it. You could benefit from the protection provided by the newer 9 strain Gardasil that cover for any strains you have not been exposed to.The vaccine doesn't treat or help with existing HPV infections. You might be able to find a provider to give it at your own expense, but it is costly.

Withered limbs from polio have been documented since early man:  note the Egyptian priest's withered left leg. Be wise, immunize!

It takes any vaccine weeks to generate protective antibodies &amp; these antibodies are only to the strains in the vaccine.There are dozens of HPV strains &amp; you may be at risk for strains not in the vaccines or if exposed before effective
