Possible: It's always possible to get pregnant.  Home pregnanccy tests generally do not become positive until you are about one week late. If that test is negative, repeat it in one week and call your doctor.

Not possible, but...: If a woman has a regular normal period after sex, then she is not pregnant. If she cannot be certain that her bleeding was a normal period, then she could possibly be pregnant. A urine pregnancy test (available in stores everywhere) done 3 weeks after the last time she had sex will give the answer. Be sure to read the instructions and do the test correctly.

Can do a preg. test: It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after a "weird" period. An Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or worrisome symptoms.

Probably not: If you have taken multiple tests and they are negative and still had bleeding at the correct time of your cycle, then most likely you are not pregnant. But, it may be a good idea to see a doctor, have a blood test done to confirm pregnancy and discuss your cycle changes. Also make sure to be taking a prenatal vitamin
