i have severe itching on my inner thighs and neck with white patches. the itching is so bad that i can't sleep at night. what is this?

Not clear: Without getting a look at the rash, it is tough to say for sure. Can get over to your primary care doc for a look, but in the meantime can try over the counter Hydrocortisone (anti itch) cream and use a moisturizing lotion after you shore to keep your skin from being too dry. Take care.

i have severe itching in specific areas; left calf, lower back neck, left thigh & above left armpit. negative bloodwork and inconclusive biopsies help?

Itching: If you have not seen a Dermatologist about this you must do so as soon as possible.
If you have seen the Dermatologist but are not comfortable, ask your family or friends to find a different Dermatologist for you.
Please let me know what develops. I am confident that this will be taken care of by a Dermatologist.

There is a very: characteristic skin rash that accompanies celiac disease: dermatitis herpetiformis.  Typically this is a skin manifestation of non-celiac wheat sensitivity. Extremely itchy bumps or blisters appear, especially on the forearms.The lab abnormalities you describe are not typical for celiac; in fact serum globulins may be low. I suspect more than one diagnosis; continue working closely with her Doctor

Hyperkeratosis pilar: This is an hereditary condition of the skin with extremely dry skin, obstruction of hair follicles, overgrowth of the follicles and often redness. The skin feels prickly with small (1 mm) red bumps around the follicles. The basic treatment is  lots of moisturizer. This rash occurs all over the body but mainly on the extremities. Lymphoma is associated with itch mostly, and the rash is different.

Itching: Severe itching 2 weeks after a c-section could well be due to a reaction to a drug. Narcotics are a common cause of itching. To say better would require knowing when the itching started, exactly where you are itching, whether or not you have a rash, and what meds you are taking. Even things like new soaps can cause this. Discuss this with your OB and in the meantime benadryl (diphenhydramine) might help.Best wishes
