im currently experiencing pain in both of my breast. they are really sore. ive started running over the last 3 weeks. could the jarring of running on pavement cause this? thats when i started noticing the soreness.

I doubt it: If you wear a jogging bra that is fully supportive, then this is unlikely to be the cost. Is your breast pain related to your menstrual cycles? Have you been increasing your caffeine intake? The most common cause of breast tenderness in people as young as you is Fibrocystic breast disease. Fibrocystic breast: Check a pregnancy test first. The most common cause are the fibrocystic changes that can be very tender, especially before your cycle.  Decrease caffeine intake and use Vitamin E and they may get better

Food and breast pain: In general food does not affect breast pain or birth control pills. In those patients with fibrocystic breast tissue chocolate and caffeine can sometimes increase pain.

If it is still there, or especially if it got bigger see a specialist, start with your Gyn. If it got smaller, or if you can not find it, check it again at the same time next cycle and continue to follow this schedule in every cycle at the same time ONLY!

Pregnant?: If there is a chance of pregnancy then take a home pregnancy test. If not then it could be stress or hormonal shifts. She your doctor if periods do not become more regular over the next few months.
