You may be pregnant.: Your symptoms do not sound specific for any one medical disorder.  There are some characteristics that fit better with a lung-based or respiratory condition.  First, though, i would start your search for answers with a home pregnancy test.  If that is negative then i recommend you  see  a good internal medicine physician..

You also have numbness and taking prednisone,
an anti-inflammatory medication. It may cause numbness, difficulty in breathing and Anxiety.
At age 19, stressors of relationships, separations, breaking of relationships can also cause anxiety

Reflux: First,you should see your personal physician a good and thorough history and physical exam. Based on those findings will dictate what test(s),if any,should be done. Reflux certainly would be on the list and could be responsible for your symptoms. You could end up getting an xray of your chest,lung function study,and possibly an endoscope exam to look at you stomach and esophagus.

Maybe But ...: Maybe, but I an an Internist so I would try to rule out other more serious causes first, depending on how severe your "loss of breath" is.   When you are having "loss of breath" what is your heart rate? Do you feel lightheaded? How long does the episode last? Do you have any other health issues involving you heart or lungs? Etc,Etc.Etc.
