can implantation bleeding begin 5 days after sex? i've had this bleeding for 4 days, 4 days before my period due so my period is due today

This doesn't: sound like bleeding from implantation. Usually there isn't any bleeding with implantation. When bleeding dose occur if might be a pink swirl in white discharge, a small rust colored drop of blood- a very scant amount. However, if you don't get your period - would recommend taking a home pregnancy test.

See a Doctor: Sometimes rough sex can cause you to have a tear in your  private areas like labia, vagina etc. It is best to get checked.

i urinated blood after sex (not rough). 12 days before period due. surgery for ectopic pregnancy 3months ago. miscarriage 7 months ago. had unprotected sex 3 days ago. after urinating blood this morning, no bleeding since. what should i do?

Vaginal bleeding ?'s: Some light bleeding may occur after ovulation, especially if two eggs ovulated simultaneously (rapid drop in estrogen after ovulation).  If bleeding persists, see your gyn physician as a tubal pregnancy is also possible.

Possible not likely: There is a good chance the bleeding was from sex. It could have been irritation of the cervix from the penis. Or you could have a year inside the vagina that bled. Most likely it was not really a period

Not surprising: If the bleeding turns bright red, then go see a GYN MD for a possible injury. Otherwise, the prolongation of your bleeding is consistent with your period ending.

Consensual, right?: As long as it was consensual, then no worries. But if you didn't agree, then it becomes a legal issue ie rape. Post-coital bleeding is common but shouldn't be ignored. You need to get evaluated by your Family Doc, GYN, Planned Parenthood or local city/county STD clinic. Once we're sure you don't have infection or anything else, then we can blame it on enthusiastic sex. But not until exam &amp; tests.

Yes, you can be: If you and him are healthy and you had unprotected sex, you may be or will be pregnant.  Consider having a pregnancy test then be safe.  If negative, consult your gynecologist regarding an intrauterine device (IUD) or a subdermal implant which are the most effective methods to prevent an unplanned pregnancy.

Check a test: If you are concerned that the bleeding before and at the time of your last period was implantation, then a pregnancy test should be positive. Since you have not missed your next period, the last period could have been just a period, and it would be too early to tell.
