Many possible causes: Stress or anxiety can affect "performance".   Alcohol and marijuana can affect the quality of erections.  Tobacco smoking long term can promote erectile dysfunction.  Your description does not sound like prostatitis.   If you have had groin surgery or radiation therapy, both of these can affect erections.  If none of the above apply, then I advise seeing a physician for an exam.

Prostatitis: Yes prostatitis can result in inflammation to the nerves that facilitate erections due to their close proximity to the prostate.  Vasectomy does not increase nor decrease the likelihood of developing prostatitis.

Seminal loss : You should see a urologist to evaluate your symptoms.  This may be retrograde ejaculation which can contribute to prostatitis. There is a procedure that helps with retrograde ejaculation.

True prosatatis is an infection/inflammation of the prostate, different from enlarged prostate that older men get. Careful of prostate massage because it may spread the infection, if there.  ED MAY be from this or other causes, e.g., circulation, anxiety, etc.  Peace and good health.

Possibly; see doctor: One who gets pain at a little toe, while having a prostate infection and an erection, has an intriguing symptom, since the toe is about 3 feet from the prostate. However, nerves that come out of the sacrum (the bottom of the lower back) travel to the prostate, travel to the little toes, and also cause erections. The person may be getting "referred pain" to the toe. A neurologist can figure it out.

Acute prostatitis is usually treated in the hospital with intravenous antibiotics because this condition can be associated with bacteria in the blood stream and shock.
