Interaction: Be aware that cialis can potentiate the blood pressure lowering effect of both losartan and amlodipine. Ask your pharmacist if the 20 mg cialis can be cut in half with a pill cutter.

BP meds and Cialis: Losartan, HCTZ, (hydrochlorothiazide) and amlodipine do not counteract the effects of Cialis. However, Cialis may potentiate hypotensive effects of these blood pressure medications. Contact your doctor if you have any dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting.

have a bicuspid aortic valve op soon. i'm 59, surgeon feels i'm in good health otherwise. begun 25mg losartan. is taking 10mg cialis occasionally ok?

Yes: as long as you are not taking nitrates and your bp is good and not low.  the cialis may lower your bp and make you feel dizzy or weak, so be aware of that possible side effect.

Symptoms?: Hi. Are you getting low blood pressure and/or dizziness when you take Cialis with your blood pressure drug regimen? I would think the hydrazine and the clonidine would be the most likely offenders based on mechanism of action. Generally losartan, Coreg, (carvedilol) and amlodipine are well tolerated with the Cialis family of drugs. But that's quite a BP combo; take my prediction with a grain of salt! Good luck

See answer: Horny goat weed (epimedium): a herb that has been a traditional remedy and used as an aphrodisiac in china for centuries. Active ingredient in epimedium is "icariin" which works much the same way as the pde-5 inhibitors (viagra, levitra, (vardenafil) cialis) but much weaker. Taking the two together likely not a problem but amount of icariin varies in these herbs and my philosophy: "more is not always better".

just recently drank two cans of fresca soda water within two days. i also had taken cialis over the last 3 days. are there any dangers in this. i see that it is advised not to mix grapefruit with cialis. im not sure if fresca soda water applies?

Unclear: Cialis can be taken 5 mg every day for both erectile dysfunction and bph, benign prostatic hypertrophy.  If not taking daily wont be effective for either.  If using occasionally can do a 20 mg dose but if the 10 works then use minimal effective dose.
