: Hormonal fluctuations that occur right before menstruation can affect not just the uterus, breasts and ovaries, but also the rest of the body. Symptoms such as acne, nausea, diarrhea and rectal cramping can all be due to the change in hormones. The IBS probably makes your intestinal tract more sensitive to the reaction. Eat a simple diet, and drink lots of water.

If the result is negative, one can see her primary care doctor to be evaluated for nausea and other stomach symptoms.

Many things.: Sometimes diet manipulation can help.  Fiber is sometimes tried. Probiotics for some.  Medications including dicyclomine, hyoscyamine, and lots of others can sometimes give relief.
