i just used monistat 1 on wednesday. my period just started today, friday.  is it okay to use a tampon??

Yes it's okay: Unless there is a lot of discomfort,redness and inflammation, there should be no contraindication to using a tampon.

i took monistat 1 last night at 11:30pm. i have started my period and struggle with using pads. may i use a regular sized tampon?

Yes: It's okay to use a tampon after using Monostat, just know it may not have had time to treat the yeast infection and you may have to retreat after the cycle is over

Yeast : Monistat is good over the counter medication for yeast. If you have some blood in the vagina then then medication will mix with the vaginal discharge and may have a pink appearance.

i took monistat 1 pretty sure the over night egg one and now i have bleeding. my menstrual cycle isnt until the very end of the month but i dont know if this could have made it start sooner or if the bleeding is from the monistat?

: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

Less effective: When you are on your period the Monistat has less chance to be absorbed, and will be less effective. An oral prescription for an anti-fungal medication will likely be more effective for vaginal yeast infection in this circumstance.

Stress: Stress can delay your period. Several other factors can like traveling, weight gain or loss. Some menstrual cycles are can be different. This is normal. Be patient. You can also go see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test. The Monistat has nothing to do with your delayed period
