Yes.  There are no: known drug interactions with most medications that treat stomach ulcers.  However, since I don't  know what other meds you're taking, to be on the safe side, take your laxative 1 hour before or two hours after you take your other meds.  Dr. Anne

: You may. For constipation - You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.

Yes: Most stomach ulcers can be cured medically taking pills, but you need to see a doctor to see if indeed you have the ulcer, and if you have, what caused the ulcer. Depending on the cause, the treatment may be different. Thus you need physician's evaluation and guidance for the treatment.

Stomach ulcer meds: Medications can be used to help treat stomach ulcers.  They are known as proton pump inhibitors (PPI).  These medications decrease the acid secretion of the stomach and given time will allow your body to heal the ulcers.  Some ulcers are caused by a certain bacteria (H. pylori) and certain medications are needed to treat this.

Esophageal/Stomach?: Acid reflux if treated properly with acid suppression therapy does not cause ulcers in esophagus.If left untreated over long period of time it may cause esophagitis, esophageal  erosions;ulcers in esophagus
but acid reflux does not cause stomach ulcers, which are mostly caused by infection with h pylori a bacteria.

Sinus treatment: If the sinus inflammation is a bacterial infection, oral antibiotics are usually prescribed. If you're basically dealing with nasal congestion, treatment consists of various nasal sprays and other measures like steam inhalation to drain mucus from the sinuses. None of these treatments should be problematic for your peptic ulcer.

Stop the NSAID: No medicine will cure a NSAID induced ulcer.  Stop taking the anti-inflammatory and talk to your doctor about possible alternatives.

Severe: GERD usually requires a proton pump inhibitor with or without antiacids and standard GERD Precautions like avoiding smoking, eating lately, avoiding certain foods etc

If you have: An ulcer, consider the class of medicines called proton pump inhibitors, like prilosec, if you are not on that.  Stop smoking, make sure your anxiety is controlled though unsure exactly the role of stress and an ulcer.  Main think, proton pump inhibitor and stay on them as long as your doc suggests but i would likely stay on them.  Good luck.
