No: This is not a way you are going to transmit HepC. There would have to be fresh blood or serum on the metal, and you would have to have an open wound with the contact. No worries about infection with what you are stating.

VERY Low chance: This is a known mechanism of transfer, but it is very low chance.
Most common path these days is IV drug abuse. Blood transfusion and organ transplants used to be a big problem before 1992, but since then it is highly unusual because the screening for hepc test is so dawn good....

Probably not: Transmitted in high risk situations. Most common are: IV drugs (sharing needles), or using nasal drugs, accidental needle stick in a healthcare worker, reused needles/medical equipment without sterilizing, sexually, tattoos, blood transfusion before june 1992 (as couldn't screen for hep c). Other risk factors are sharing razors, being incarcerated. After 1992, blood is screened for hep C.

Not likely: Usually need direct blood contact from infected carrier of Hepatitis C.  Also sexual transmission is very low.

No: People do not catch hepatitis C from a toilet seat or any other part of a bathroom. Many times, people who have hepatitis C don't know where they caught it from. The types of hepatitis that one can catch from a toilet seat are A and E. That is because types A and E viruses are in the poop, poop splashes onto toilet seats, people touch toilet seats with their fingers, and fingers touch mouths.

Depends on device: Past jet injectors or air gun injectors used in vaccinations were able to transmit very tiny amounts of material (such as blood) from one person to another, and so were able to transmit hepatitis viruses. Current jet injection devices, if approved by the fda, are supposed to prevent cross-contamination among patients (most likely by using disposable single-dose vaccines).

Probably low: While hepatitis C can be highly infectious, unless there is visible blood on the instrument, the risk of infection is probably very low but can not be sure it's nonexistent.
