could i lose weight by drinking baby formula?

Baby formula: The way to lose weight is to cut your calories down.  Baby formula has calories and has nothing magical to make you loose weight.  In fact,  if you drink enough of it, you can gain weight.

is it ok to drink distilled water? shouldn't it be fine since it's often used to mix baby formula? i would think then it's ok for adults.

Stop Formula!: The Academy of Pediatrics and other organizations all agree that infants should be transitioned from formula to whole milk after 12 months (1year) of age, then transitioning them to low fat or skim milk after 2 years of age; of course with a healthy well-balanced diet of solid foods.   Bottom line - your two year should not be drinking infant formula anymore - it has too many calories and fat.

good day. the previous days my baby poop has been hard and this causes pain to her as she cries whenever she has to take a poop. after she was born we fed her s26 gold baby formula now shes drinking nido 1+. what could the problem be??

Diet changes: it depends on how old your baby is. Prior to 4 months, babies are exclusively taking formula. at 4 months, you should start adding strained/pureed veggies, fruits and cereal and after 7 months meat. This added fiber usually keeps their poop soft. Nido 1 is  not to be used until your baby is over 1 yr old (400 ml per day after regular food). give 60 ml prune or pear juice and 60 ml water per day.

: Continue the formula as advised by your Pediatrician. If flavoring may be added, this may result in better intake. Allergy testing may provide additional information and may be ordered by your PCP.

M.D. visit: I would suggest discussing supplemental formulas and probiotics with your pediatrician. Breast milk is the best formula and enhances gut immunity.

not for most: As one of the most successful formulas today this could not be if it were harsh on babies stomach.There are numerous reasons a baby may not tolerate a specific formula, and these are specific to the child.

Depends: Formula is not paperclips. There can be minor differences in the ingredients that babies gut may deal with differently.This can result in changes in digestive patterns, cramping,loose stools,constipation etc.while switching back and forth. That said, some kids won't notice any difference and will do well,(or poorly) on one or both. Best find one that works and stick with it.

Wouldn't switch: I wouldn't switch from breast milk because of gassy baby. Typically babies are gassy because they swallow a lot of air. This should improve when the baby is more efficient at eating. Typically this is by 6 months of age.
