It is always prudent: Not to drink while you are on medication. However , i did not find any interaction between alcohol and difulan. Unfortunately it seems you can drink.

A drink or: Two is not going to affect the antibiotics much. But would recommend not drinking while being treated for an infection

Alcohol: Can increase the effects of the med. So be very cautious when drinking. From medical perspective. No drinking. From reality. Be very cautious.

You get drunk: You can drink alcohol when on zithromax but do it in moderation. If you have a significant infection i would advise abstaining until it has resolved.

Not a good idea: Nyquil and many other cold products contain alcohol and antihistamines. The combination can cause excessive drowsiness and impaired alertness.
