: If you had sex since your last period, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative, repeat in 4-5 days, unless you get a period by then. If it is positive, see you doctor to manage your pregnancy.
Giger tea will not help.

: If you are having a period lasting this long this can signify many issues such as a thyroid issue, polyps or even a cancer

Periods : it is hormonal and sometimes does get influenced by stress.  Hormonal imbalance is main reason for irregular menstrual periods if not pregnant.

No, but: Ginger tea is fine to drink, if one enjoys the ginger flavor. Avoid using too much sugar, or too much of other sweeteners. It won't change one's menstrual periods, which means that any change in one's menstrual periods after drinking ginger tea is actually a coincidence and not caused by ginger tea. If periods are truly altered by the tea, there's more than just ginger in there (scary thought!).

Your body needs: To be ready to start having periods.  Usually you need at least 17% body fat. The ovaries need to be able to secrete estrogen. The estrogen eventually stimulates growth of the endometrium (uterine lining) which is eventually shed. There aren&#x27;t studies at this time that support use of green tea to induce menses. A 2010 study showed that japanese females who drank &gt; 5 cups green tea/day had first.
