Hair shedding: Like this is a nutritional deficiency---period. Folic acid is but one vitamin. Try a b complex + magnesium + multivitamin and get rid of the sugar and sweeteners in your diet.

NO: flovite is a vitamin and consevel is an amino acid. Both digested rapidly.

Metformin: In those small amounts will. It any impact on your weight.  Cut your meals in half.

That is quite: An elevated platelet count.  She needs evaluation for essential thrombocythemia and exam to look at spleen size.  She is at risk for both clotting and bleeding.

Coincidence unless: Millions of people take Folic Acid ; vit e ; this is not a known side effect so this is almost certainly a coincidence. You might be allergic to soy (most vit. E is derived from soy) but even if so i wouldn't expect this reaction. Try stopping them but it will probably make no difference. You might have a urinary infection or disorder affecting nerve function. Please see a doctor for evaluation.

?Not anemic: Your rbc is low, but hct is probably at the bottom of normal.  The other lab values are all normal.  This discrepancy between rbc and hct usually means either your red cells are unusually big, or something is interfering with the counting.  This can happen with a cold agglutinin (red cells clump in the cold), excessive alcohol, liver problems, or low thyroid.  Given other symptoms, check thyroid.

Worth a try with...: Your question got cut off, but I have no idea what they weigh- but not much! The supplements you mention may help but I advise a multivitamin that has the L-5-MTHF form of folate (folic acid). But those may not help much without other approaches including dietary changes.
