No, very unlikely: Minor menstrual irregularities are very common and are usually a result of natural hormone fluctuations .Cymbalta (duloxetine) has no demonstrable effect on reproductive hormones.

my last menstrual cycle was 12/01/21-12/06/21. i am on the mini pull. had unprotected sex 12/17/21 and took plan b 18 hours later. im 3 weeks out today with late period but negative test. when can i be considered in the clear of being pregnant?

: A home test would be positive now if you conceived from intercourse 12/17. If you take the mini-pill consistently you have good protection but unpredictable periods. Also the Plan B (besides erring on the side of excessive caution) could further disrupt them.

Dexamethasone: I do not know of any vitamins that will affect your menstrual cycle but see that you are taking dexamethasone. This is a powerful medicine with many side effects that is known to disrupt your menstrual cycle (as well as other hormones). I would use this medicine with great caution and discuss other options with your doctor. Consider acupuncture and herbal alternatives.

See answer: Based on your description, pregnancy unlikely. Pregnancy requires sperm to come in contact with the cervix during your "fertile window" which is the day of ovulation and the preceding 5 days. Best time to take a home pregnancy test is 1 week after missed scheduled period.

See gynecologist: It seems that your uterus is getting sensitive as it changes shape and thickens prior to your period.  It also makes sense that the bleeding is heavy with this.  You should see your gynecologist for evaluation of this as it is very likely treatable.

Vegetarian/Menses: An association between vegetarian diet and menstrual disorders, it is still not clear if this is due solely to the vegetarian diet or due to the overall inadequate nutrition with decreased proportions of fat and protein in the diet. Hormones are fat soluble therefore if not enough fat is consumed or high estrogen containing foods are (soy/yams) this can affect menses.

Take HPT to know: Reasons for missed/late periods: low body weight, obesity, marked weight ^ or v, over-exercise, endurance athletics, breast-feeding, ^ stress, illness, eating disorders (bulimia or anorexia), anovulatory cycle (no egg released), travel, hormone irregularities, drug use, meds (i.e., birth control) or medical problems (i.e. PCOS). #1 reason is pregnancy.

It happens: Normal women occasionally miss a cycle. If you miss more than 8 weeks some OBGyns would offer meds to trigger a cycle.
