Could help...: Yogurt can help recolonize the intestinal tract with "good bacteria" after diarrhea. This is especially true if the diarrhea was brought on after taking antibiotics for an infection. It may not help, but if the 9 year old would eat it, it will not hurt.

Not crohns: Bluish green poop is not associated with crohns as far as I am aware. It is more likely something you ate or a medication  you took. Usual symptoms of crohns are abdominal pain, diarrhea and or blood in stool.
