noticed a bruise next to shin and swelling around it. is this just a bruise or could be a blood clot?

Not a blood clot: Blood clots (the BAD deep venous kind) occur behind the tibia or shin bone within the deep vasculature. Your bruising is more likely due to more direct type trauma with expected local swelling. The hematoma can take several weeks to resolve. a protective wrap may be all that is needed to avoid recurrent injury to the tender area. If pain persists longer than that, orthopaedic evaluation is needed.

could i have blood clot in ankle area if no swelling? have had a pulling pain for 3 days. hurts to touch. no bruise/swelling/injury. what should i do?

One does not need: Sweling to have a clot...you should see a doctor to discuss your concerns.

Small chance...: As you describe your symptoms, it sounds more like a strain or minor sprain in the ankle. The suspicion of a clot seems very low, but cannot be ruled out 100% without a closer evaluation. As the ankle pain subsides, it will be interesting to see if any residual bruising begins to show.

No: It is a sign of bleeding into the tissue.

Unlikely: Risk factors that increase the chance of blood clot include sitting for long periods of time (low blood flow), smoking, having personal or family history of clots, birth control or pregnancy, inflammatory diseases (eg Crohns or rheumatoid arthritis).  The only way to know for sure is by ultrasound.  If the pain on the left worsens or swelling begins to occur, then reasonable to see a physician.

Potential diagnosis: Bakers cyst (possibly irritating the nearby nerves or vessels resulting in the tingling, baker's cysts are often associated w/ meniscus (cartilage) tears), 
blood clot (dvt), 
stress fracture, muscle/tendon strain, herniated disc (in back causing knee pain). W/ your symptoms i rec you seek advice from your pcp or ortho as soon as you can. Either of these physicians can order further tests if necess.

it hurts when i push down on a spot on the outside of my mid right thigh. i noticed 2-3 days ago. there is no discoloration or bruise, no swelling and its not warm to the touch. could it be a blood clot? or something else?

: Outside of the thigh is not a site for blood clots as there are no large veins there. You may pressing on a nerve. 
For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. 
Get HPV, Flu and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
