Yes: Cushing's syndrome is caused by the body's production of too much cortisol.  It typically causes weight gain, truncal obesity, striae, hypertension, glucose intolerance and infections.

Cortisol levels can be raised normally from stress. Xanax (alprazolam) can help an acute situation of anxiety but is not a treatment for hypercortisolism.

Cortisol &gt;40 is diagnostic of cushing's.

Cognitive behavioral: Therapy. About 90  percent of people who visit the er for chest pain usually has panic attack. Usually u need to remind u self , i did. See a professional and did many tests , i  know it is not my heart. So if u breath slowly and try to chill out , u may be ok.

Not likely: But alcohol taken up to 3-5 days prior to triglyceride test can increase the result,
At age 31, i would not worry. Do exercise, loose a few pounds, abstain from alcohol 3-5 days before test and repeat it.

No: Although being anxious about a blood pressure check could raise your blood pressure, e.g. White-coat hypertension, your every day blood pressure is not going to be while you're on xanax (alprazolam) and therefore the reading on xanax (alprazolam) may not be fully reflective of your true bps. A better option would be to check your BP at home regularly and keep a log and take with you to your doctor for review.
