Rubbing or isopropyl: If you breath a lot of these fumes they can be a severe irritant and cause nosebleeds. Isopropyl alcohol fumes can be absorbed into the lung membrane and result in brain and nerve damage. Common symptoms of nerve damage include dizziness and numbness. Less severe symptoms include nausea and headaches. When inhaled briefly or sniffed in a robust fashion, you may experience a quick headache.

I think it...: ...Mostly calms your anxiety about breathing. If you do a pulse oximetry on yourself before and after the drink, you may find the oxygen level in your blood actually dropping.

See your doctor: You may have aspirated (food or other material going down "the wrong tube" into the bronchi rather than the esophagus) which can result in pneumonia.  You should be in a treatment facility right now, if you drank enough to poison yourself, rather than be at home.  You have a severe drinking problem, and it requires help, but would seek medical attention asap right now for breathing problem.

Dangerous: Drinking alcohol while taking Ativan (lorazepam) may increase your risk of certain Ativan (lorazepam) side effects, such as:
 drowsiness 
dizziness 
problems with coordination 
unusual behavior 
memory problems. 
 It may also slow both the heart and breathing, which can cause you to pass out, have difficulty breathing, or even lead to death.

Ignore it: The chances that baby had any significant exposure are next to zero. I wouldn't loose sleep over this issue. Just avoid drinking yourself.

Don't drink alcohol!: Usually alcohol intake in moderation (2 drinks a day, but not 14 on Saturday night!) do not cause any cardiac problems. HOWEVER: drinking large amounts of alcohol may acutely affect cardiac function and make the heart acutely weak. Long term alcohol may deteriorate the heart to the point of dilated cardiomyopathy with subsequent heart failure.
Other explanation could be aspiration into lungs.

do i have alcohol intolerance? i got a headache, flushing, palpitations, and very slight trouble breathing after tequila and sangria (first time it has happened). went away after a day. i usually drink chu-hi (9%) drinks. this hasnt happened before?

: Try taking tequila without sangria and sangria without tequila and see if symptoms recur. If they dont then it might have been that batch of those products.
