Hormone excess?: Face and head sweating is more common in women that are taking hormones. It can be from excess sympathetic tone or from volume changes being monitored by internal pressure receptors as might be your case with renal disease. Check hormone levels and consult with your nephrologist or endocrinologist.

This requires you to make a list by order of  magnitude or severity to your mind. Some of the symptoms suggest an element of stress either in your home or work life. For this I would suggest that you exercise(walk) daily

Unlikely: Excessive sweating can be seen with an overactive thyroid, but associated with other signs/symptons. Weight gain is more common w/hypothyroidism, again associated with other signs/symptoms. Your doctor can reassure you with a simple blood test if you're concerned.

Yes it can: Yes it can.If you are receiving more replacement hormone than you really need it will make you hyperthyroid and that can cause you to sweat in bed
Consult your doctor or endocrinologist  and get you blood tested for thyroid profile to see if you need to reduce the dose of your thyroid hormone

Might be: But don't expect to be diagnosed over the internet.  You need to see a doctor, undergo a thorough exam after providing a full history, and then have labs drawn.  Go soon.  This is easily treatable and can cause significant problems if really due to an overactive thyroid.
