Yes: It can be shingles/ herpes zoster. If indeed shingles, it will hurt sooner or later.

Itchy rash: This itchy rash may be an allergic reaction to something external like clothing,detergents,cosmetics or something internal like medications,foods. I assume insect bites or poison ivy,etc are not the cause. Try taking an antihistamine by mouth and apply corticosteroid ointment. If no improvement or more involvement, see your physician for evaluation and advice.

had a coronary angiography 6 days ago. itchy rash right upper abdomen still present. should i be concerned?

Probably not.: It is probably a delayed reaction to the cleansing solutions used to clean the groin and surrounding area (abdomen)  before the procedure. Wash the affected area with gentle soap and water. Use Benedryl OTC if the itching is severe. This will probably resolve in a few more days.

Could be eczema : Try vasoline ointment on your skin after bathing when your skin is wet
Avoid drying soaps
Do not put anything else on the rash 
If it persists then see your dermatologist for a diagnosis and then maybe a topical steroid ointment

Derm eval.: These lesions need to be visualized &amp; a history needs to be obtained in order to make an accurate diagnosis.  Sometimes lab testing or biopsy is necessary.

Possible: Herpetic rash tends to be in a cluster of small blisters that can be itchy or can burn and be painful. The blisters then can break leaving the area with shallow ulcers that will eventually crust over and go away --- to recur again at a later date.

Please see Dr. ASAP: A number of things can cause these symptoms, infections and reactions to medications are two most common, but many others. This needs to be evaluated as soon as possible.

Acid reflux: Alcohol stimulates acid production n the stomach and slows down the movement of the esophagus and stomach. Your problem is thus more likely from acid reflux which cannot be picked up with ultrasound. Can't tell what may be causing your rash or joint pain and suggest that you consult your doctor.

See your doctor: various infectious, allergic, and other inflammatory conditions may cause this including food or contact allergies, viral infections, medications etc and would need more extensive review. happy to consult but otherwise see your doctor soon esp if persistent to identify underlying cause(s) esp if any changes such as new medications, foods, soaps/bath oils, sexual practice, travels, etc

Rash: The rash you are experiencing sounds like an allergic reaction, however a good history including drugs, soaps, perfumes clothes is necessary. I would suggest seeing your doctor but you can take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for the itching
