Sometimes: It depends on your insurance and the specific supplement you are looking to have covered. Usually I have found that it is not commonly covered. However, I have encountered exceptions in my practice.

Hard to say: You don't give the dose or how long you have been on it.  Remeron (mirtazapine) used to help sleep or increase appetite is usually in lower doses (7.5 to 15 mg/day) while the antidepressant effects are more likely at 30-60 mg per day.  You have to be on it long enough between dose increases to see an effect, which can be 4-6 weeks. Is someone prescribing it? If so, THAT is where your advice should come from.

Sushi and pregnancy: California rolls have cooked crab, avocado and rice, all ok during pregnancy.  Just make sure the fish or shellfish you eat is cooked, not raw and you will be ok.

Specifically-yes: A simple search shows this as an act passed by the California Assembly. As such it would only apply within California. There are relevant laws in other states &amp; territories.

Ask insurers: I can't advise a given plan because each insurer offers many different plans that cover different things. You should ask this question to the insurance companies. However, my experience is that a plan that covers acupuncture is likely to be very expensive. It may be cheaper to get a plan that covers major medical expenses and pay for acupuncture out-of-pocket!

Not true: Psychologists are capable of making diagnoses in all states. Only psychiatrists, advanced nurse practitioners and physician assistants can prescribe medication in most states.

See web site below: For information about this, you can check http://www.Bbs.Ca.Gov/   this site is specifically about "counselors" like social workers, clinical counselors, etc.  You can also check licensure for phd psychologists, and licensure for md's and do's who are psychiatrists.

No: If you have had an accepted, effective dosing as a child (check your medical record), then you are immune. Boosters are not necessary.

No: The vendor is required put such warning if a chemical is used, usually in paint. However, the chemical has likely evaporated during the time it took from manufacture to you purchasing the dumbbells.

Poison you!: Paralytic shellfish poisoning (psp) toxins and domoic acid are naturally occurring marine toxins. They are powerful nerve poisons. Mussels have caused psp outbreaks in california. You get tingling and numbness of the lips, tongue and fingertips. Later symptoms are lack of balance, lack of muscle coordination, slurred speech and problems in swallowing. Complete paralysis and death can occur.
