Invasive diagnostic : A heart catheterization is done from a groin or arm artery by passing a very small hollow plastic tube to the heart.  Pressures in the heart can be measured through the catheter and liquid dye can be injected to make an angiogram to show how strong the heart squeezes and whether or not there are any blockages in the coronary arteries.  It is an outpatient procedure with local anesthesia.

See below: During pericardiocentesis the exploring needle is connected to an electrode which helps monitor the position of the needle. If the heart muscle is touched it can be immediately repositioned.

Yes and no: The complication rate for serious adverse events with a routine heart cath is on the order of 1/1000  to 1/10000.    While rare, when they do happen they are quite serious, so you should always make the decision for a heart cath in conjunction with an experienced cardiologist.

Echo: A technician puts gel on your skin and moves the transducer over the skin thru the gel to obtain ultrasound images of the heart. The patient lies quietly on the table. The test is not uncomfortable.

Need more info: How do you know that there is no blood flow to the bottom of the heart? What you described is unlikely. If you have any symptoms, you should see a doctor for an evaluation.

Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
