i am 5 weeks pp and experiencing numbness of vaginal buttock area. not bad but its tbere .i had it during pregnancy and had an mri of my spine done and it was thankfully clear. could it just be from giving birth? i also had stitches after the birth?

: Typically, this is transient and should gradually depart over next several weeks.  Sometimes, doctors will recommend supplementing a B-50 complex tab daily, but there is only anecdotal support for this approach.  Give it some time and if the numbness persists beyond the next month, contact your doctor.

Mostly yes: Breasts can get much enlarged and swollen which can make them more susceptible to bumps and bruising. Wear a good support bra, and take good care of them. Best wishes.

Vibration : That depends on your pregnancy. Human nature is that people connect things that are not connected. Women sometimes have problems with their pregnancy unrelated to outside causes. While nonaggressive vibration is safe on the back and buttock during a normal pregnancy when a pregnancy goes poorly, the disappointment rarely allows people to accept that there was no outside reason.

No: Did you fall or have any trauma ?  Keep an eye on it and mention to your ob on your next visit

Yes: Systemic absorption of skin applying Meds should be minimum. Not enough to harm fetus

i am currently 35 weeks pregnant.. last day during shower i saw type b pigmentary demarcation line running on back of my thighs to leg.. is this something i should be worried about? and will it be effecting my pregnancy?

: Pigmentary demarcation lines are mainly a cosmetic problem. Most cases occurred during the latter period of pregnancy (after the seventh month), and the pigmentation faded spontaneously or disappeared a few months after delivery. Your pregnancy is not affected by this condition.

is it normal for thighs to hurt and be sore during early pregnancy?

Accepted Answer

Yes: It is normal for just about everything to be sore during the first and third trimesters.  If you have muscle soreness, I suggest increasing the calcium and potassium in your diet (e.g. milk, bananas, orange juice with extra calcium) and the amount of water in your diet.  You can also use massage and stretching exercises for sore muscles.  This is likely to improve later but talk to your doctor.
