Tailbone Pain: Tailbone pain is not in any way a sign of HIV infection. If there is a redness, swelling or pain in the skin over the tail bone this is known as a pilonidal cyst and any good pediatrician or family physician can help you with that.

Curious.: There is no torsion or pressure on your coccyx during this exam.  Call the doctor's office (that did the endoscopy).  They may be able to provide a answer, but the complaint is not common from patients I have sent, nor in my personal experience.

Wrong diagnosis: If you have iliopsoas tendinitis the pain is on top of the hip, not the buttocks. Have it reevaluated as there will be another cause for pain in that area.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. 
You may wish to take vitamin D supplements, just in case it is due to vitamin D deficiency.

Pinched nerve: Pinched nerve is the first thing that comes to mind. Any trauma? If it goes down the leg it should be evaluated.

Since it has lasted for 3-4 months, it is important that you see a Dr for a thorough exam and potentially some imaging. Prolonged sitting on a hard surface can make this pain worse, so use a pillow or seat cushion to provide some relief.
