Gastroenteritis?: Sounds like gastroenteritis. Try to stay well hydrated, OK not to eat. If vomiting or getting extremely weak seek medical attention. Stool studies might help in understanding if this is a transient indigestion versus a form of gastroenteritis.

Unlikely, but...: This is not unusual and any life change can be a part of why. Try Pepto-bismal or other antacid but it it continues as a Dr for a GI exam - may be giardia. Drink water more and watch your diet - be gentle and moderate. A few sips of diluted cider vinegar can help - some add a tiny pinch of baking soda. Best!

Reflux: Sounds like classic reflux or GERD.  Avoid late meals and evening caffeine.  Next try reflux meds like H2 blockers (zantac) or PPI (nexium).

Cholecystitis: U probably have an infection in the gal bladder. U have to see your primary or fily physician asap.

Need more info.: If these symptoms have only been present a couple of days, this could be food poisoning or a viral gastroenteritis, regardless of your IBS.  If this has been going longer, however, then there may be an underlying process such as IBS, inflammatory bowel disease, other infection or even a gallbladder issue.  If this has been going on for more then five days, go visit your doctor.
