Contused nerve: It occurs because of a contusion to a nerve on the top of your foot. It will resolve with time.

Hands and feet sympt: These symptoms may be due to an allergic reaction or the viral infection know as hand,foot and mouth disease which is more common and a more serious illness in children. At this time take an antihistamine, rest and take in adequate fluids. See your physician if symptoms worsen instead of improving.  Try to determine whether anything you ate or took could have triggered an allergic reaction

Yes: You need to monitor the swelling because it can put pressure on the blood supply and the nerves

Burning numb: This doesn't fit a logical pattern for a neurological illness in the back or the brain, but could fit with diabetes.  Check with your doctor to get screened. Exercise and drink plenty of fluid, avoid caffeine. Hope this helps.

: It would be helpful to know additional medical history. Ie. Cardiac or renal disease.   Edema is the legs and feet can be due to both a cardiac and renal problem. I would advise you to see your PMD who could examine you and order additional diagnostic tests.  Blood work ECG chest X-ray to help diagnose and treat the problem.

Feet swelling: There can be lots of reasons for swelling, such as uncontrolled hypertension, arthritis, lymphedema, etc.  Tingling burning pain may be specific to nerve impingement/ pathology.  Depending on location of the tingling burning, it could be a neuroma, tarsal tunnel, radiculopathy (from your back), neuropathy, etc.  Hope this helped.

Find the cause 1st: There may be many treatments for swollen feet. However, the more important question is why they are swollen. I would recommend that you be seen by an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon if your primary care physician cannot find the cause of the swollen ankles.
