Keratosis pilaris: Sounds like keratosis pilaris, benign skin condition that does not require treatment . Usually genetic.  Treatment is rarely successful and they tend to come back, although it may improve with age .  You can try moisturizing lotions to soothe the skin and help it look better
skin creams that contain urea, lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, tretinoin, or vitamin d
steroid creams to reduce.

The condition can be remedied with a good exfoliating scrub and also by improving the consistency and fluidity of the skin membrane from the inside. This can be done with a good fish oil supplement as well as eating a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids and anti-oxidants. Vitamin A is also recommended.

Contact dermatitis is a rash that is caused by exposures to allergens directly on the skin? Some allergens i seen more and more lately are detergent rashes. Use clear detergents!
