CJD +, no donation: If it is confirmed that you have cjd you absolutely can not donate plasma or blood. Cjd is transmissible through body fluids(blood, plasma} but not air. You also can not donate organs.

Not likely: I think there is probably no brain or nerve  tissue in this. Also I think there has been no mad cow disease in USA in recent years. However, the epidemic among British milk cows was traced to bone meal and meat added to their feed. Prions tend to survive heating. Since the US govt does not regulate these supplements you cannot know exactly how it was made. Why take this useless supplement, anyway?

No: The few people who got vJCD was through eating beef with bone in, from animals fed animal products.

Correct: The best time is after the period as the fibrocystic changes are least then which allows you to detect any smaller chnages.

Stress: I am sorry for your loss. You and your wife went through emotional stress of losing a child. Stress can contribute to hormonal changes. You and your wife need more time to recover. Most couples will achieve pregnancy within two years, if not, consult physician.

Generally, yes: Most women have fairly symmetrical breast tissue architecture from one side to the other.  It is very common to have mild asymmetry in terms of size.  It is even common to find different architecture within different areas of the same breast. Your best value in doing BSE is detecting a difference in any area of the breast compared to previous BSE's.

i'm 17, i have breast tenderness for 2 wks.i did a bse and both breasts got quite some lumps,some soft & some hard and idk if i should b concerned?:(

Findings are : Consistent with fibrocystic change which is a benign issue.

left breast lump found on bse; had mammogram followed by u/s. complex cyst w/debri (5mm) identified. told to have repeat mammogram in 1 year but how do i know for sure the "debri" isn't worrisome? should i get 2nd opinion or request biopsy?

Breast cyst.: Given that your age does put you at risk for breast cancer, unfortunately, with or without a family history of such, a second opinion wouldn't hurt.  Complex cysts are a bit more worrisome than simple cysts as they have some contents.  I wouldn't panic right now, but a second opinion or a breast MRI wouldn't be a bad idea.
