Yes: Brush to remove the main debris where your brush can reach. Floss to clean in between and where your brush cannot reach. Rinse to complete the process. You might also add in the waterpik after brushing to " powerwash" your teeth. Good question.

i got vicksvapor rub in mouth and brushed teeth, used mouthwash but i still taste it n i feel it mentholin mythroat/stomach. dangerous? what do i do?

i woke up with a bad toothache and it lasted a couple of days i did the usual brush my teeth mouthwash etc, i felt fine then friday night my eye was killing and today it's starting to swell bigger and bigger and it's causing me headaches major headaches ,

See care asap: See your dentist as soon as possible to determine what's causing the toothache and associated swelling and pain. Pain and swelling indicates probable infection which needs treatment before it gets even worse! Headaches often follow stress (over your dental problem). Do not delay.

See your dentist: Bad breath can be a sign that you already have, gum disease. The bacteria and other particles, constantly form a sticky, colorless toxic “plaque” on teeth causing Bad breath. See your dentist for evaluation and treatment.

Yes: I would suggest chewing the vitamin c first, waiting about 20 minutes, then brushing and rinsing. Brushing immediately after chewing vitamin c may erode the enamel of your teeth since it is acidic.

i brush my teeth and use mouthwash 3 times a day. am i going to get fluorosis?

Accepted Answer

NO: Fluorosis can only occur while teeth are still forming, unerupted, under the gum (prior to age 6).  It can not happen once a tooth has erupted into your mouth.  As an adult you do not have to worry about this.

No difference: The bacteria destroying aspects of mouthwash would be similar in effectiveness before or after brushing.

Accepted Answer

When to brush: Brush in the morning when you get up and before you go to bed = 2 times.  Then in addition it is best and optional to brush about 1/2 hour after eating even with only a brush and water (no toothpaste here is ok).  Mouthwash never replaces brushing as it cannot properly dislodge the debris.

Alcohol: Most moth rinses contain alcohol and that can dry your mouth.  If your does consider using a different mouth rinse without alcohol..

why does my mouth taste like butter? i have brushed my teeth and used mouthwash also has me me vomit.

Accepted Answer

Might try using : A different toothpaste and rinse.  Try colgate total or similar toothpaste and also make sure you are brushing your tongue.  Crest pro health system is also very good.  Hope this helps.
