Unrelated: Your Nuva ring has no relationship to accidental discoloration under your right breast. If you had normal exam and in general you are healthy young woman- no worry about breadt cancer. Discoloration under breast could be skin irritatin , fungal infection from sweating, tight bra etc.,Make sure bra fits well ( avoid wires) daily appky lotion after shower. Exercise regullary, eat fresh. Don't smoke!

Bruising: the breast is vascular, fibrous and fatty tissue in makep so bruising is caused by the bloods availabilty to pool in that tissue environment. It doesnt clear as quickly as muscle does

Probably trauma : This is most likely due to trauma but it does sound somewhat unusual and if it is associated with any bloody nipple discharge, i would advise you to discuss this with your physician and strongly consider a mammogram as a first step. Review any blood thinning medications to make sure you are receiving the proper dosage as well.

PG Breast bruising: When pregnancy commences, there is increased blood flow to the genitals and breasts. The breasts will have several prominent surface capillaries that are easily subject to breaking with undue trauma(bruising) no matter how slight. Hemangioma/hematoma: It depends on how long you had the "bruise" for: if few weeks or few months it may be a hematoma (blood that leaked from ruptured vessels due to trauma or bruising) and should clear shortly but if you had for years or since birth it can be a vascular anomaly or hemangioma (benign tumor of blood vessels). If it blanches (turns pale) whem you press it, it is likely a hemangioma

Dark spots?: Women who are allergic to the metal in an underwire bra can sometimes develop chronic discoloration to the skin.  The reaction is caused by allergy to nickel.  This is a contact dermatitis (which is different than an environmental allergy).  I might suggest an over the counter topical steroid cream and using a plastic underwire bra (if you were them).

what should i do about this? last week i noticed a quarter size bruise on my right breast and it didn't hurt or anything so i let it be but i had no clue where it came from now today my right breast is hurting but not by the bruise area i am not pmsing or
