Rash: The rash would have to be examined by  a physician in order to make a diagnosis. A reaction to something that came in contact with the skin would be one possibility. If the rash persists, hopefully you'll be able to have it examined by your physician or a dermatologist.

This is unusual: Leah, you really need to see a clinician both to get relief from the symptoms and find the cause.  You can take over the counter antihistamines like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for the itching, but the soreness is strange and could mean it is something more than just an allergy.  Good luck!
