No: Unusual bleeding is the hallmark of Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone). The most common reason women choose to stop using hormonal contraception in general, tends to be dissatisfaction with their bleeding patterns which is usually unscheduled bleeding and spotting.

Pregnancy test?: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ;  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Maybe: Implantation bleeding usually occurs about 6-7 days after ovulation. While you may have timed intercourse to try to match ovulation, there is always a bit of guesswork in this plan.  So timing may not be specific. Usually other early pregnancy symptoms would also occur: nausea, food aversions, etc. If spotting continues, contact your doctor. 5% of women have spotting before normal period.

Not really normal: Any vaginal discharge that is on the brown to red spectrum is usually caused by bleeding.  A small amount of blood mixed in with secretions will turn brown.  Bleeding after intercourse is not necessarily something terrible, but it's not normal, and it needs to be looked into.  It could simply be from too much friction, or from an infection, a polyp, or even cervical dysplasia.  Please see your GYN

More likely: From getting off birth control pills. It can take several cycles for your periods to go back to normal. However if your thyroid dose is too high or too low that can cause irregular bleeding.

Yes: Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period.

Unlikely, but...: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a withdrawal period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant.
