Musculoskeletal.:  My experience has been, that this phenomenon is usually due to muscle spasms in one side of the head, but you should see a neurologist for evaluation.

Possible: If your aneurysm were a critical size, &gt;9mm, and your coughing bout raised intrathoracic pressure with secondary vascular pressure elevation (Valsalva maneuver), might indeed rupture fragile aneurysm.

Yes ... But : A brain tumor can cause a chronic cough, but the chances of this happening are so remote that you don't need to worry about it.  There are hundreds of causes of chronic cough more likely than a tumor.  See your doctor and get cracking.

Not brain damage: Coughing can be very distressing and have complications but should not lead to brain damage.  Migraines also can be severe and there may be many triggers.    The best approach is to have a specialist identify the trigger for the coughing.  In that way, if the cough can be controlled, then there may be less migraines.

1 month ago i swallowed a poland spring cap i feel great you know it hits me that oh my i swallowed a cap but obviously my brain is just scared i guess i have normal bms no pain but could i have possibly inhaled it no shortness of breath or cough...?

Foreign object:  The cap to this bottle is pretty large - large enough to potentially occlude an airway. I believe that you would have had significant symptoms if you inhaled an object of this size.

Muscle spasm: The symptoms are arising from they muscles of your neck. Coughing causing rapid flex ion and extension is aggravating this. Discuss with your doctor about neck strengthening exercises.
